Google To Enter Wireless Carrier Business

Google has recently confirmed that the Internet search giant will be expanding their business focus even more, by making an entry into the world of wireless carriers. However, no matter how large they are in terms of market capitalization on the stock market at the moment, do not expect to flock over to Google right away. After all, Google has outlined its still-to-launch wireless plans to rank on a small-scale effort, as they work hand in hand with U.S. carriers in order to improve service. Google senior Vice President of Products, Sundar Pichai, has confirmed that Google will make available such services to mobile users some time later this year. While there has been no light shed on the immediate specifics as to what Google’s exact plans are at the moment, it has been tipped to be released “in the next few months,” at least according to Pichai. Apart from that, Pichai has also brought forward a suggestion that Google’s service could be utilized in a manner where it can “show innovations, like calls automaticlaly reconnecting if someone drops on one end.” The likes of AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint also happen to be its partners, which is why Google is walking on a fine line here.
