Motorola To Unveil Razr 50 Series With Enhanced Features On June 25

According to GSM Arena , Motorola is set to unveil the Razr 50 Ultra and the Razr 2024 series on June 25th. However, aside from the launch date, Motorola has not disclosed any names or information about the devices to be announced later this month.

This rumor follows a post by Motorola US’s official account on X, after Lenovo China’s announcement, which hinted at a possible China-exclusive release date.
The promotional material showcases two devices with faux leather backs in orange and purple, indicating a variety of seven colors likely distributed between the two models.

The Moto Razr 50 Ultra is anticipated to maintain its predecessor’s 6.9” FHD+ main display and 3.6” cover display . However, it’s expected to upgrade to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and feature a new camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens , omitting the ultra-wide camera found in the Razr 40 Ultra. The battery capacity is also predicted to increase by 200mAh, reaching a total of 4,000mAh.

The standard Moto Razr 50 will reportedly have a significantly larger cover display at 3.63”, compared to the Razr 40’s 1.5” screen. It retains the same size for the main display but switches to a Dimensity 7300X chipset . Camera-wise, it will sport a 50MP main sensor alongside a 13MP secondary sensor , likely an ultra-wide lens, with the battery capacity remaining at 4,200mAh .

Pricing for the new series is expected to stay consistent with the previous generation, with the Moto Razr 50 priced at $700 and the Razr 50 Ultra at €1,200 (~$1288) . These prices align with the US and EU launch prices of last year’s models, according to separate leaks.
The anticipation for Motorola’s new foldable phones is high, as they promise improved specifications and features while maintaining familiar aspects that users have appreciated in past models.
