Google Play Store Receives New Design Prior to I/O Keynote

It seems like it was just last month  when Google launched its redesign for its Google Play Store, and today, we’re hearing about another update to the Google Play Store just mere hours prior to the Google I/O keynote. The Google Play Store version 4.1.6 isn’t a complete overhaul like last month’s update, but instead some of its buttons, wish list design, consistent menu text and a few minor visual tweaks, such as a new “open / uninstall” buttons are now available. Its new, colorful home buttons are one of the most notable changes in this release, which help make each section pop out even more than they previously did. Google also now allows its “Update All” feature to work for apps with new permissions and will warn users about downloading large updates wile using a mobile-data network connection. Today’s Google Play Store update will begin rolling out as an over-the-air update, or you can install the new APK file in order to get in on the version 4.1.6 action earlier than everyone else.
